This is a conversation with my dad where we discuss growing apart and the tensions that appeared in our relationship as I was becoming an adult, and how we’ve overcome those tensions to become close again.
My hope, in sharing this conversation, is to show that there is a better, more emotionally intelligent way for men to communicate with each other. It’s not easy, but it can lead to much deeper, more meaningful relationships.
